How to Install gpaint software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

gpaint software package provides GNU Paint - a small, easy to use paint program for GNOME, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gpaint 

gpaint is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gpaint package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gpaint *
